Steps

Bloom
0:45Add twice the coffee weight in water (e.g. 30g water for 15g coffee). Swirl gently to saturate all grounds. Wait 45 seconds.

First pour
1:30Pour in circles to about 60% of total water. Keep the water level steady; avoid dry bed.

Second pour
2:15Add remaining water in a slow, controlled pour. Target total brew time 3:00–3:30 from start.

Drawdown
3:30Let the bed drain. When the drip slows to a few drops per second, the brew is done.
