Based on 1:16.7 ratio for Chemex. ~15% of water is absorbed by grounds.
Steps

Setup
0:00Place Chemex filter with 3-fold side toward spout. Rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat the brewer. Discard rinse water.

Add Coffee
0:00Add 30g of medium-ground coffee to the filter. Shake gently to level the bed.

Bloom
0:45Start timer. Pour 60-90g of water (95°C/203°F) over the grounds. Stir gently at 0:10 to ensure all grounds are saturated. Wait for bloom to complete.

Main Pour
1:15At 0:45, begin pouring in slow circles, breaking up any clumps. Continue until you reach 300g total water.

Final Pour
1:45Continue pouring until you reach 500g total. Stir once clockwise, once counterclockwise with a spoon.

Swirl & Drawdown
4:10At 2:00, give the Chemex a gentle swirl. Let the coffee drain completely. Target finish time 3:30-4:10.
